Certified clinical medical assistants are multi-skilled allied healthcare professionals who perform clinical and administrative duties under the supervision of a physician or other licensed healthcare provider. Medical assistants work in various healthcare settings, including clinics, physicians' offices, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. The clinical medical assistant course is a hybrid program consisting of 50% online and instructor-led lectures and 50% labs. Our Clinical Medical Assistant Program satisfies all training guidelines established by the Medical Board of California and is authorized to run through our adult school and community college partnerships.
Upon graduation, students will be prepared to take the national exam for Medical Assistant Certification through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). CALRegional students have a 90% passing rate, over 26% more than our competitors.
